KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- It’s officially "YostSeason", at least that’s what Josh Weinstock is pushing since the Royals made the playoffs for the second consecutive year.

“I’m a crazy wild Royals fan, not as wild as the guys who dress up in the costumes. I channel my energy through silly songs and videos,” he told FOX 4.

He saw a fan hold up a sign at one of the games with the words “Yost Season” and the idea for a new song took off. Weinstock says he’s inspired by all of the fans cheering on the boys in blue.

“We got the guy who dresses like the pope, the cat guys, and Sung-Woo, who doesn’t even live in the United States,” Weinstock said.

Weinstock created another video earlier this year titled “Unfinished Business” when the Royals lost the World Series.

Now he’s back to show his spirit and support the only way he knows how: through song and a lot of humor.

“There’s a guy who talks about people making fun of Royals fans, how a lot of us make silly videos and wear costumes,” he says about the new video.

A Royals fan his whole life, he says he’s got a couple more ideas up his sleeve.
