KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- One man says his life-size moose is a lucky charm for the Royals and he took it out to The K on Thursday so it could work its magic for the Royals in the first game of the American League Division Series against the Houston Astros.

Jon Dittmer from Higginsville is a taxidermist by trade, a Royals fan always.

He took the full-sized moose to Kauffman Stadium on Thursday and of course, thousands of people stopped by to take pictures.

Dittmer said when he saw the popularity of the man who brings the giant moose antlers inside the stadium, he knew he need to bring his own moose.

"Every time I've brought the moose, they've won. They won. I'm just sayin'," saidĀ Dittmer.

We look forward to the familiar sound of Mike Moustakas fans yelling "Moooose".
