KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- After each home victory, many fans stay and wait for the man known as "Kaycee" to come up his ladder to hang the big "W" over the Hall of Fame.

His name is actually Dave Webster and he's spent the past seven years as the Royals historian. He has attended nearly 500 home games. What a gig!

He has become a major part of the post-game celebrations at Kauffman. He walked FOX 4's Katie Banks around the Hall of Fame and described Wednesday night's game as 'huge'.

Webster says he hopes the Royals ride the momentum from Game 4 in Houston, which he says was reminiscent of last year's Wild Card game.

"This is a deciding game. It will be great going out and seeing all the fans. The fans have just been electric. And it will be great going out with a big W," said 'Kaycee' Dave Webster.
