KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Audra Henry and her fiancé grew up Kansas City Royals fans, and when it came time to naming their unborn son, the two could only decide on one name, Royal. Just 10 days ago, baby Royal Scott Titus Overmyer was born.

The Royals weren't playing that day, but over the 10 days since he was born, the Royals have been pretty lucky. So his parents think little Royal is a good luck charm.

Mom, Audra, says for the most part friends and family have loved the name, but some people on social media have been skeptical.

“Some people were like, Royal? And I`m like- you know what, I love it,” Henry said.

“Maybe he`ll be a baseball player in the future,” she added.

Audra says little Royal's room is already completely blue, and she expects a lot of Royals memorabilia in her son's future. Audra says she hopes her son emulates catcher Salvador Perez as he grows up. She likes his fun-loving personality.
