KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Hundreds of Royals fans spent Monday night at a free rally at The Power & Light District. Fans got to meet former Royals legends after Miller Lite arranged a free autograph signing.

“I love it when everybody is packed together you know, everybody can feel that great vibe,” said Jayden Dickinson.

Royals legends Dennis Leonard, Frank White, Brian McRae, Willie Wilson and John Mayberry all signed autographs for fans.

“Just keep doing what you are doing, I mean they are playing well together as a team,” White said. “When one guy needs to be picked up they seem to be picking each other up mainly.”

Fans spent the night playing Royals-themed games, winning prizes and listening to live music.

“My grandpa used to be a big fan of the Royals until he passed away,” Dickinson said. “He had such a great passion for it and I would watch him watch games and he just loved it.”

White said the team looks ready for The World Series.

“This year I think the expectations were right there from the very beginning and just going out through this season they had such a big lead and they held it all year,” he said.
