KC Symphony challenges NY Philharmonic to a wager

New Yorker Michael Stern, now a Kansas Citian and conductor of the Kansas City Symphony, issued a wager to the New York Philharmonic.  If Kansas City loses (NOT!) Stern said the Symphony will send everyone in the Philharmonic a Kansas City barbecue lunch.

They also promised to play ‘New York, New York.’

Now… it’s time for the Philharmonic to ante up.

The symphony awaits.
