KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- With over 200,000 fans expected to attend Tuesday's World Series Championship Parade and Royal celebration, some fans are finding ways around the expected gridlock.

Elise Carol said she booked her room Sunday night after the MVP presentation. It was the second hotel she tried and was able to get one of the last two rooms. Most hotels were already booked Monday within a few miles of the parade route.

“I just think it’s been so long for everybody in Kansas City, I’m 28 I’ve never had the opportunity to experience a World Series. I was able to go to Game 2 and I can’t imagine actually clinching the World Series without going to the World Series parade," she said.

If you don’t want to try to deal with traffic and parking free bus service is being offered on all local, express, and shuttle services that connect to downtown beginning at 9 tomorrow morning until two hours after the celebration ends.
