22-year-old man found dead after shooting in 7400 block of Lydia

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Kansas City, Mo., police are investigating a homicide that occurred Wednesday.

Police say the homicide is the result of a shooting in the 7400 block of Lydia.

Officer were called to the scene just after 10 a.m. When homicide detectives arrived they found one person dead.

FOX 4 has since learned the victim is 22-year-old Frank Robert Beasley.

Police have not yet released any information about the suspect other than it is a man who is possibly in his 20s and was last seen fleeing the scene in a white car. Police add that they think the victim and the shooter knew each other.
