Man killed in KCK car accident

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — A man in his 50’s died on Tuesday night in a car accident. The accident happened underneath the Interstate 35 overpass at Cambridge Drive, and one other person was injured. That person was hospitalized, but suffered minor injuries according to police.

The accident happened around 7:15 p.m. Officers say the car was heading northbound on Cambridge when it hit the median. The driver lost control and the car rolled.

That man died at the scene. Investigators are still working to determine what led up to the crash, and were reconstructing the accident scene on Tuesday night.

FOX 4 later learned that the victim was 53–year-old Allan R. Alley of Shawnee, Kan.
