KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Didn't get a chance to got to the theater this summer? A lot of the season's hottest flicks are finally available to view at home. Watch the video above for this week's Home Video Popcorn Bag reviews.
1) THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E (PG-13)
The cinematic update of the old 1960s’ TV spy series “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.” bombed at the box office this summer. It might find new life on demand, however. Henry Cavill plays a US secret agent and Armie Hammer is his Russian counterpart. They team up to take on an international crime organization.
No, it isn't going to find new life because this movie should have been made 30 years ago. Which is too bad because "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." is a sexy and gorgeous-looking movie. It's a spy caper with serious brains and a very sophisticated vibe. It's just a movie not for this era.
Director Guy Ritchie’s tongue-in-cheek thriller is a mildly entertaining Cold War throwback, full of zippy action and good humor. It doesn’t amount to much, but the stars exhibit some easy charm and the slick execution makes “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.” a breezy distraction.
The cast delivers sex appeal and a fair amount of acting chops. The pace is a bit slow but the movie is so stylish and gorgeous looking you won't care. So lets start the campaign to make this movie a sleeper classic.

2) WE ARE YOUR FRIENDS (R)
Zac Efron needs a new agent. “We Are Your Friends” tells the tepid story of a wannabe DJ who tries to break into LA’s electronic dance music scene.
It may be tepid but "We Are Your Friends" still manages to be cool. Sure it's all surface level stuff but it's a fun watch. If you were looking for this movie to provide you with the meaning of life then you probably aren't the target demo any ways. No this DJ didn't save my life but for 90-minutes I was entertained.
A likable cast and stylish moments can’t quite save this soapy, far-fetched story.
Yes, it's all cliched. But cliches aren't always a bad thing. So let the music play.
