KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Once a month KCPD Chief Darryl Forte joins the FOX 4 Morning Show to chat about issues around the area.

Friday, Nov. 20,  Chief Forte discussed what officers in Kansas City are doing to keep the city safe as we head into the holidays, which will include multiple crowded events. He also discussed mayor Sly James' new task force initiative aimed at reducing violence in Kansas City.

"We are ready," Chief Forte said.  "We have intelligence information, we have cameras and we have a lot of other things I can't talk about."
