Overland Park police search for 2 suspects in Friday morning carjacking at busy shopping area

Suspects in armed robbery at 11800 West 95th Street. on Friday, Nov. 27.

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Overland Park police are investigating after one person reported a carjacking early Friday morning.

Police say around 3:30 a.m. they got a call about an armed disturbance in the 11800 block of W 95th Street.

When officers arrived on the scene, the victim told police two men stole their vehicle.

According to officers, the victim handed over the keys when one of the suspects pointed a handgun in their direction.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

Police describe the suspects as black males in their late teens or early 20’s. The stolen vehicle is described as a 2008 gray four-door Toyota Corolla.
