KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Finding delicious and festive cocktails to serve at your holiday parties is not always an easy task. Mary Rodriguez of Diamond Girls Bartenders shared a few of her favorite drink recipes. Fresh Whiskey Sours
3/4 cup whiskey
1/2 c fresh lemon juice (about 3 lemons)
1/2 c fresh lime juice (about 4 limes)
2/3 c simple syrup (equal parts of sugar and water than has been brought to a boil, cooled and stored)
Stir all ingredients in pitcher. Pour over ice and garnish with a maraschino cherry.
Jack Frost Cocktail
2 ounces of pineapple juice
2 ounces of blue curacao
2 ounces of rum
1 ounce of cream of coconut
Shake and pour into chilled martini glass. Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
2 ounces of cherry syrup
2 ounces of gin
5 to 6 ounces of club soda
1 ounce of red wine
