Almost one year later, still no arrest in death of 36-yr-old man in Belton

BELTON, Mo. – Belton Police hope this reminder will impel anyone with information about the murder of Chad Donaldson, 36, to come forward.

Chad was last seen at a QuikTrip at 58 Highway and Interstate 49 in Belton around 10:30 p.m. on December 21, 2014. Officers were then called to the area of Springdale Drive on reports of a shooting. That’s where Chad was found.

Early in the morning of December 22nd,  Chad’s mother, Jenny, received a knock at the door and was told her son had been shot, and she needed to get to the hospital immediately. After a long surgery, Chad was dead.
