KANSAS CITY, Mo .-- A pregnant Kansas City woman says two home invaders stormed inside her house and pulled guns on her and her daughter. The home invasion happened Wednesday night near 27th and Prospect.

Stephanie Wilson told FOX 4’s Robert Townsend she’s counting her blessings that both she and her girl are both still alive.

“It was a knock on the door; like two knocks,” Wilson recalled.

Immediately after hearing the knocks on her front door around 8 p.m., Wilson says two guys armed with guns rushed inside her home.

“I was scared. I was basically scared for my daughter because I didn`t want nothing to happen to her and she was scared for me,” she said.

Wilson, who`s six months pregnant, was sitting on a loveseat with her 7-year-old daughter when one of the home invaders aimed a gun at them.

“He had it from my head and bust my lip with it, and they had it in her eye like that. It scared me. It scared me,” said Wilson.

The terrified, expectant mom was worried about her little girl, herself and her baby.

“I just didn`t want nothing to happen to my baby. She keeps on saying that she was worried about me and her brother. I`m having a boy,” she said.

Wilson said when one of the robbers kept asking her for her money, her daughter ran out of the back door, but concerned about her mom, the second grader dashed back inside.

“He grabbed her by her hair and put the gun up to her face. He said if she go back out that door he was gonna shoot her in the back,” said Wilson.

Fortunately, she and her child weren`t hurt. The robbers ran, but the little girl is still afraid.

“Because when they were running, they said they`d be back,” said Wilson.

The robbers took $1,200 of her money that was meant for bills. If you know anything about this crime, call the TIPS Hotline at (816) 474-TIPS.
