ANDREW COUNTY, Mo. — A woman is dead Friday following a shooting in Andrew County.

Police say that around 12:12 a.m. crews were called to the Amazonia Ball Park.

When Andrew County deputies and Missouri State Highway Patrol troops arrived on the scene, they found Stephanie Bradberry, 24, of Savannah dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

Investigators say that although the investigation is in its early states, it is believed to have resulted from a domestic dispute between the deceased woman and arrested male.

Andrew County authorities arrested and charged 21-year-old Jay Patrick Bowman of Savannah, Mo. with second-degree murder, armed criminal action, first-degree domestic assault, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana in connection with the shooting death.

Bowman is being held without bond at the Andrew County Jail. No date or time has been set for any court appearances.
