KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Frontier Airlines announced on Thursday that they will be adding nonstop flights from KCI to three locations.

The routes include:

Kansas City to/from Atlanta-Hartsfield

Flights operate Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays

Service begins April 15, 2016

Kansas City to/from Chicago-O’Hare

Flights operate Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays

Service begins April 14, 2016

Kansas City to/from Philadelphia

Flights operate Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays

Service begins June 2, 2016

Tickets for the flights go on sale starting Jan. 7.

“These three routes are some of the most popular destinations from Kansas City,” Kansas City Director of Aviation Mark VanLoh said. “We’re pleased that Frontier Airlines has decided to expand their ‘Low Fares Done Right’ service at KCI and bring additional nonstop options for Midwest travelers, especially in the same week that the airline launched new nonstop service to Orlando.”

“Travelers between big cities have enjoyed low fares while many markets have remained overpriced and underserved,” Frontier Airlines President Barry Biffle said. “Frontier’s low fares in these new markets will benefit millions of new fliers who are forced to drive because they haven’t found affordable air travel options – or they simply stay at home. We see hundreds of additional opportunities like these throughout the country, fueling our growth for years to come.”
