Man pleads guilty to shooting KCMO woman to death at playground, gets 25 years behind bars

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A man pleaded guilty in the shooting death of a Kansas City, Mo.,woman on Thursday.

Freddie Price pleaded guilty for killing 35-year-old Shonda Thomas on a playground near the Maple Hill Apartment complex on June 4, 2014.

Price was sentenced to 25 years in prison for second-degree murder.
