MIAMI COUNTY, Kan. -- The search for a missing woman is over after the Miami County Sheriff's Office says that her body was found in her truck, submerged in a creek. Susan L. Warren's truck was found overturned in a creek bottom near 223rd Street and Pflumm just before 2 p.m. on Friday, and the sheriff's office confirmed she was only person inside at about 4 p.m.

Deputies said that Warren, 54, hasn't been seen since Thursday around 8 a.m. at her home in Hillsdale, Kan. She was supposed to be heading to work Thursday, but never showed up at the Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park.

Her death is being investigated as the result of a traffic accident, but the case remains open.
