KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- A Kansas City, Kan., woman may have lost her job, but she has not lost her desire to help others.

Cindy Lanier uses Facebook to connect with her community and provide anything from clothing to food to baby products to those in need. Lanier also uses her house to store the donations others contribute to the Facebook group Keep Moving Forward.

Lanier says Keep Moving Forward takes in donations and gives those out to others for free.

Susie White nominated Lanier for FOX 4's Pay It Forward award because she says Lanier is always there for people who need help.
