KANSAS CITY, Kan. — The Kansas City Chiefs’ season may have come to an end, but some young fans had a few words of encouragement for their favorite football team.

The letter is the second letter from Ms. Costello’s Silver City Elementary School third-grade class.

Dear Kansas City Chiefs,

Thank you for taking our advice in the playoffs. Even though you didn’t win, we know you tried your best. We hope you all had fun! Keep on practicing hard for the next season. Keep on trying and believing in yourselves. Don’t give up, we still believe in you!

–Ms. Costello’s third grade class

Ms. Costello’s class also sent a letter to the team during the playoffs.

The new letter reminds the players to believe in themselves and never give up.
