LOS ANGELES -- Casey Affleck, who stars in the new film The Finest Hours chatted with FOX 4 film critic Shawn Edwards about making the intense film.... and all the water involved.

The Finest Hours is the true story of the daring rescue of 30 sailors trapped inside a sinking ship split in two by a massive storm in 1952.

He said the water tanks were about the size of a football field.

"I remember being there. It was like Day 40," Affleck said. "You look down and you see the filthy pool of water. It's like standing in the shower with 600 people."
