KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Uber users can request more than a ride on Friday.

In honor of National Adopt-A-Shelter-Pet Day, the company teamed up with local shelters to help get puppies adopted and raise money for the shelters.

Uber users can request rides or puppies. All users have to do is choose the "puppies" option in the app.

Users will be charged $30 for 15-minutes of playing and cuddling. The money raised will be donated to shelters. In Kansas City, the money will be donated to Great Plains SPCA.

To kick off the special day, Great Plains SPCA brought Abu by the morning show and the anchors fell in love.

Mark suggested that Karli create a similar service with her baby. Karli quickly shot that idea down.
