KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Kansas City police said yet another Subway restaurant was the target of a robbery Friday night.

Police responded to a call around 8:30 p.m. at the location at 152 Highway and North Oak Trafficway.

The robbery becomes the ninth in a slew of Subways to be hit in recent weeks. There has yet to be an arrest in these robberies, although police have been searching for suspects seen in surveillance footage.

The suspect in the latest robbery is described as a black male in his 30s with a mustache wearing a coat with fur trim. There were no injuries reported.

Subway provided this statement following the latest crime:

"All SUBWAY sandwich shops are independently owned by hard-working franchisees who are committed to providing a great and safe dining experience for their guests. There are security guidelines that are shared with owners and have been reinforced in light of recent events. Additionally, owners often work with local law enforcement to address these crimes and prevent recurrences."
