SHAWNEE, Kan. — Shawnee police are trying to find one of three suspects accused of robbing a pizza delivery driver Sunday night at about 11:00 p.m. in the 6300 block of Widmer Road. Police responded to a 911 call from a Pizza Hut delivery driver who said he was just robbed by three people while he was delivering a pizza. They took his money and his vehicle.  As officers arrived in the area they were able to locate the victim’s vehicle, a 2013 Kia Sol.

They also found the alleged suspects’ vehicle, a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix near 6200 Rene Street.

Two juveniles were taken into custody without incident and awaited charges. The third suspect ran on foot and a police K-9 was used to track him, but the suspect was not located, but they say they have a good idea of who he is.

Police are asking anyone with information to call the Shawnee Police Department at (913) 631-2150 or the TIPS hotline, (816) 474-TIPS.
