KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City Police say a body was found in the street near Locust and Armour early Monday morning.

They have no suspects in custody.  By 7:00 a.m., police had not announced if they considered it a murder or whether the victim is male or female.

In a separate investigation, a man was shot at about 2:45 a.m. Monday near 118th and Blue Ridge Boulevard.  It happened near a nightclub. Police believe there may have been an argument  at Mac’s South KC Jazz and Blues which led to the shooting. The man was found about a half-block away. His injuries were considered serious.
