One killed, another shot and injured in separate incidents in Kansas City
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City Police say a body was found in the street near Locust and Armour early Monday morning.
At about 12:45 a.m., police received a call of gunshots. When officers arrived they found 24-year-old Alejandro Lockett’s body, and the homicide squad was called in to begin investigating. They have no suspects in custody. By 7:00 a.m., police had not announced if they considered it a murder or whether the victim is male or female.
In a separate investigation, a man was shot at about 2:45 a.m. Monday near 118th and Blue Ridge Boulevard. It happened near a nightclub.
