KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Sources say that the Chiefs have reached a 3-year deal with linebacker Tamba Hali.

ESPN reported the deal Tuesday afternoon, citing a league source.

Although the Chiefs have yet to officially announce the deal, Hali himself took to Twitter to say that he'll be staying in Kansas City.

Hali, 32, was selected to the 2015 Pro Bowl, his fifth trip since joining the Chiefs in 2006 as a first-round pick out of Penn State.

The linebacker was second on the Chiefs with 6.5 sacks last season.
