KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Even after all the success he has had during his first year in the NFL, Kansas City native and current Denver Broncos’ outside linebacker Shane Ray hasn’t forgotten about the city he was born and raised in.

On Monday, Ray posted a photo to Instagram of his latest tattoo that features a variety of Kansas City icons and logos.

“I take pride in the city that made me who I am today,” Ray said in his Instagram post.

The Bishop Miege and Mizzou alum was drafted by the Broncos in the spring of 2015 and has had a successful first year in the NFL. During the 2016 Super Bowl Ray had two tackles, one of which was a big hit on Cam Newton.  The Broncos went on to defeat Carolina 24-10.
