KCMO police say missing 84-year-old woman found

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City police are searched for a missing 84-year-old woman Tuesday and reported later that she was found and is okay.

Officers were dispatched to her home in the 5100 block of Lister Tuesday morning on an alarm call, but upon their arrival, they noticed Anna L. Turner-Curry and her vehicle were missing.

Police say Turner-Curry is in the early stages of dementia and has recently had a difficult time finding her way home. The 84-year-old is known to visit the Raytown area frequently.

Turner-Curry is described as a black female who has brown eyes and black and gray hair. She is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 126 pounds.
