OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- Job seekers will have the chance to interview for as many as 1,000 positions at the Overland Park Convention Center Tuesday.

The Kansas City spring job fair begins at 10 a.m., and continues until 2 p.m.

Employers will be looking to hire for a variety of positions from sales to healthcare to IT. The job fair gives the employer the chance to do face to face interviews and possibly hire someone on the spot.

The chance to do a personal one-on-one with a potential employer could help someone get a job versus applying online.

Some of the employers are Missouri State Highway Patrol, Nebraska Furniture Mart and FedEx.

Those who plan to attend are encouraged to bring about 25 resumes, a notepad and pen, and to dress professionally.

The Kansas City workforce partnership will also be providing free resume reviews.
