Final Four celebrations and defeats
March Madness has come to an end and there are four schools still standing, North Carolina, Syracuse, Villanova and Oklahoma. March now gives way to April and play in the Final Four this Saturday, with the national championship game on Monday, April 4.
North Carolina will be the lone No. 1 seed at the Final Four. It’s North Carolina’s 19th Final Four, where they’ll take on No. 10 seed Syracuse. The Syracuse Orange are the fourth double-digit seeded team in NCAA history to go to the Final Four.
Play in the women’s NCAA Tournament continues Monday night with two Regional Championship Games in Dallas and Bridgeport, Connecticut. In Dallas the game has Baylor facing Oregon State while in Bridgeport top-seed Connecticut is playing Texas. The winners advance to the Final Four.
