Sluggerrr and six Plaza bunnies cheer on the Royals before home opener

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Six bunnies on the Country Club Plaza suited up in Royals jerseys, while Sluggerrr helped raise the Royals flag at 47th Street and Wyandotte.

It was all to honor the World Series Championship team before the April 3 home opener.

The six Royals Bunnies, along with three traditional bunnies will be on display through April 3.

Names and locations of the bunnies are as follows:

‘Plaza Bunny Nicholas’
at 47th Street & J.C. Nichols Parkway

‘Sue and Peter’
at The Cheesecake Factory at 47th Street & Wyandotte

‘Brian and Amy’
near Seasons 52 at Ward Parkway & Broadway

‘Lee’
at Plaza III at the corner of Ward Parkway & Pennsylvania
