KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Sunday marked Opening Night at The K, and many are referring to Tuesday's game as Opening Day.

FOX 4's Matt Stewart takes you inside the newly remodeled Rivals Sports Bar for a look at the view from the sports bar.

Matt also checked out some of the merchandise that will be available at the team store, as well as spoke with Toby Cook to learn more about the ring ceremony.

"When a player talks about the thing, they talk about, 'I want to get the ring,'" Cook said.

The gates to Kauffman Stadium open at 1 p.m., Tuesday.

First pitch is at 3:15 p.m. The ring ceremony is set to begin at 2:30 p.m.

Noah Syndergaard starts for New York and Chris Young starts for the Royals.
