KCK police conducting investigation after human remains found near Wolcott and I-435

KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Police in Kansas City, Kan., are investigating after human remains were found Wednesday.

KCK police chief Terry Zeigler tweeted just before 1:30 p.m., that officers were on the scene of human remains near Wolcott and I-435. When questioned further, police say they believe they have a human skull, femur and a few other bones after a mushroom hunter discovered the skull.
