KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Justin Bieber wasn’t the only celebrity at the Sprint Center on Wednesday night. There was also an Eric Hosmer sighting, and a metro girl is glad the Royals All-Star first baseman had a ticket.

Pause the Bieber fever, the mob you see in the video was actually crying out for Eric Hosmer.

The Royals first baseman was mobbed by an ocean of Beliebers while trying to leave Sprint Center. You can see him getting pushed up, down, and then between. Olivia Overton was right in the middle of the chaos.

“One of those girls ran into my mom and knocked her down and I was on top of her,” she said. “I got knocked down.”

As Hosmer split the sea of raging fans also leaving the Bieber concert, Olivia said the world champ protected her from getting trampled.

“I thought he would just leave me there, but he really didn’t. He moved some people out of the way so I can get up. I almost got all these girls on top of me, but he moved them. I would’ve been smashed,” Olivia said.

She couldn’t believe her luck, and after watching her “future” boyfriend on stage, she fell into the arms of a Royal hero.

No need to say sorry, Olivia felt like she won the jackpot that night.

FOX 4 also reached out to Hosmer, but he was unavailable for comment.
