KANSAS CITY , Mo. -- Volunteers are the backbone of the Della Lamb center but there is one volunteer in particular who volunteers hundreds of hours every year despite working two full-time jobs.

Angela Fuller has been working at Della Lamb for the last five years and those who volunteer with Fuller say she never hesitates to help out.

"All I have to do is text her or send her an email," Khadra Aden said.

Della Lamb has an everyday program to help families with utilities assistance, housing assistance and a food pantry.  They also have a back-to-school program, Thanksgiving program, Christmas program and more.

Aden nominated Fuller for FOX 4's Pay-It-Forward Award. As part of the award, Fuller received $300.

During the surprise presentation, Fuller was overcome with emotion and left speechless.
