KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- More than 8,000 runners laced up for one of the quickest four-mile courses in the country on Sunday.
The Trolley Run starts in Waldo, winds through Brookside, and ends on the Plaza. It is the 28th year for the run, which raises money for the Children's Center for the Visually Impaired. CCVI prepares young children with visual impairments to function at their highest level in the sighted world.
FOX 4's Carey Wickersham met up with many of the runners, including one man who got his start at the kid's Trolley Run, and has gone on to make quite a name for himself.
