KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A driver is in custody Friday morning for reckless driving after causing a two-car crash.

The accident happened at the intersection of Armour Boulevard and Main Street around 2 a.m.

Police say they observed the driver of a red Corvette driving recklessly overnight but lost him.

A short time later the driver was involved in a crash with a dark-colored Ford. The Corvette took out a power pole and caused major damage to the car. The second vehicle was left without a  rim and had to be towed.

Despite the damage, neither driver was injured.

The man driving the red Corvette was taken into custody for reckless driving.
