KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A new sensory garden that opened up Wednesday will help enrich the lives of kids with special needs.

The sensory garden at the Children's Center for the Visually Impaired at 31st and Main was built by the same company that built the KC Streetcar. The company said the project was a way for them to give back to the community.

When FOX 4's Matt Stewart stopped by the garden for a preview, the kiddos were very excited to be outside enjoying the nice weather, as well as the opportunities the garden will provide.
