KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A new exhibit opening up Saturday at Union Station will take you inside your body.
It's called Body World and the Cycle of Life, and it comes from Germany.
All of the specimens are from people who donated their bodies, which are preserved in a process called Plastination.
The exhibit shows all the different systems of the body, from birth to death.
"It is in fact an eye-opener for people when they walk through and people say, I have a complete different view of myself," Director Institute for Plastination Dr. Angelina Whaley said. "Never again will I take it for granted."
It's an educational tool to help people better understand their body and how their life choices affect their health.
Matt Stewart takes us inside for a preview.
