Man dies after Saturday night shooting in KCK

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — A victim of a Saturday night shooting in KCK has died of his injuries, police said.

Police responded to a call around 11:45 p.m. on Saturday of a shooting in the 2900 block of North Allis Street.

Upon arrival, officers found a black male shot and lying in the street. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, where he later died of his injuries.

Police on Sunday identified the victim as 18-year-old Stephon Egans.
