LEE'S SUMMIT, Mo. -- The survey says a metro family is back from competing in Family Feud. The Dunn family just returned home after several days taping in Atlanta.

5,000 families originally applied for the show when auditions came through Kansas City in February.

The Dunn family says they spent weeks practicing and said they originally thought it was a prank when they received the call saying they were selected.

"That was so surreal. First of all, they are supposed to send you a postcard in the mail and so when I saw a number pop up on my phone, I thought it was a joke and I almost hung up on her," Krissy Lewis said.

The taped segment airs in October. Stay tuned to watch how the Dunn family did!
