24-year-old man charged with shooting KCMO man to death in front of family

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Charges were filed on Wednesday against a 24-year-old man who is believed to have shot and killed a man in front of his family in Kansas City, Mo.

Jackson County prosecutors charged Daniel Wilson with first-degree murder and armed criminal action in connection to case.

According to charging documents, police were dispatched to a home in the 4600 block of Willow on Friday, May 20 upon reports of a shooting. Responding officers found Tyrone London dead in the living room. London had been shot to death.

Witnesses told police that Wilson said,  “I’ll take your life now,” pushed a woman aside and fired several shots at London.

London was shot and killed in front of children and other relatives.

In a previous interview a neighbor told FOX 4 London was a good man who worked at Wal-Mart and helped support his mother and other family members.

Wilson’s bond has been set at $500,000.
