KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Tim Lillis died two years ago. He worked as a teacher, coach and lunch room supervisor for 24 years at St. Thomas Aquinas. Now his former students and family are creating a scholarship in his name so other kids in the metro can go to St. Thomas Aquinas. They're hosting a BBQ next Friday, June 10 to raise money for the scholarship. Flannigan's Right Hook is a local band, made up of Aquinas alumni who were also Tim's students. They visited FOX 4 to talk about Tim's impact on them. They also played a few songs.
