Wednesday, June 1 was a slow day in the traffic department, but FOX 4's Nick Vasos found one stranded driver who captured his interest, as well as the rest of the FOX 4 morning crews.

A man in a red Ford Mustang appeared to be stuck along southbound K-7 at State Avenue around 6:30 a.m. The driver remained along the highway for nearly two hours.

FOX 4 checked back in on him throughout the morning. Drivers appeared to come and go, but the driver remained. At one point another Mustang pulled over and appeared to bring the driver of the red Mustang a tire. They appeared to put the tire on the right rear of the Mustang. Once the tire was fixed, two people remained in the vehicle along the side of the highway.

Motorist assist also stopped by to help the driver, but the driver appeared to refuse help.

Nick also had some fun on Twitter in between being on air.
