KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City Royals’ catcher Salvador Perez continues to lead all American Leaguers in the All Star vote totals. Newly released numbers on Tuesday show Salvy has more than 1.6 million votes, easily in first place at that position.

The same goes for Eric Hosmer at first base, and outfielder Lorenzo Cain continues in second place among the outfielders.

The big change is Jackie Bradley Jr. in the outfield, who has overtaken Mark Trumbo of Baltimore. Bradley is closing in on Cain as well.

As it stands now, there are three Royals, three Red Sox, and one each from the Angels, Astros and Orioles as American League All-Star starters.

The All-Star Game in San Diego is set for five weeks from Tuesday night, the only place you can watch it is on FOX 4.
