KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- It's evidence played in court that will send a metro police officer to prison for years. The video many haven't seen of an interaction between that officer and a teenager. It was an interaction that changed both lives forever.

The video a witness shot and video from the officer's dash camera have spread online and across TV stations nationwide.

Now, a new perspective of the traffic stop between Bryce Masters and former Independence police officer Timothy Runnels has appeared -- a first person view.

Last week a judge sentenced Runnels to four years in prison. During Runnels' sentencing hearing, the courtroom watched video captured by Bryce Masters himself during the traffic stop. It may disturb some viewers. The video is made available to FOX 4 through The Intercept.
