KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Local singer and songwriter Gracie Schram just got back from a trip to Nicaragua where she performed in a "trash dump community." The community got it's nickname because it was literally built on a trash dump. Schram adds that she just graduated from high school and is now preparing to release new music.

"I'm so excited for it," Schram. "I cannot wait for people to hear it."

You can watch Schram perform at Kanza Hall on Wed., June 15. She will open for Lauren Alaina.
