JOHNSON COUNTY, Kan. — A pickup truck driver was pronounced dead at the scene of a single-vehicle crash on Thursday afternoon. The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office says the driver of a Dodge 1500 lost control on Lackman Road near 164th Street and hit a telephone pole.

The impact caused the truck to flip and land on its roof. The driver hasn’t been identified and the investigators are still looking into what caused them to lose control.
