See ‘The Secret Life of Pets’ for free with a donation to KC humane society

KANSAS CITY — Kansas City, Kansas native Eric Stonestreet wants you to catch his new movie “The Secret Life of Pets” on him.

All you have to do is show a little kindness.

Stonestreet bought out all the tickets for two screenings of his movie at the AMC Barrywoods 24 on Saturday morning.

If you want to get one, all you have to do is make a donation of cash or supplies to the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City.

The organization calls it a win all around.

“It’s gonna be great; he’s going to be giving back to the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City and we’re going to be able to give back to the community with the donations we get for the food pantry. And of course, it’s going to be great for all the animals at the shelter,” humane society director of development Kathi Nichols said.

The tickets are good for showings at 10 and 11 Saturday morning.

You can drop off your donation at the shelter or the theater the day of the movie, but you’ll have to RSVP.
